You may or may not know that I, Emma, have a background in radio, presenting for 15 years or so for various radio station, mostly breakfast radio on music radio stations. It became my passion – even though, if I’m perfectly honest, it wasn’t my ambition at the beginning.
I got on radio and fell in love with it. I loved the buzz of being behind the mic, loved interviewing, bringing the best out of people, having fun, being a bit mad, bringing real life to the radio…
Then life, marriage, children, location etc got in the way and there’s nothing wrong with that.
AND THEN along came podcasts. So I’m back behind the mic, back interviewing, working out what kind of interviewee I’m speaking to; someone who will talk and talk, or someone who’s far more reserved in their responses.
I’m presenting, interviewing, editing, producing, even creating audio branding. And all those years of broadcasting have obviously been a huge help.
